Robert A. Livar Sr.

Robert A. Livar Sr. began his career in electrical construction in 1974.  A graduate of the South Texas Joint Apprenticeship Training program, he acquired his JIW License in 1978.  Mr. Livar began the telecommunications division of what would eventually become CDI Technology Services in 1992, quickly growing that new division to sixty five technicians within the short period of three years.  He earned his BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer credential in 1994 and his Texas Master Electricians License in 2006.  Over the years and under the guidance of Mr. Livar, CDI has grown into the third largest electrical contractor in the IBEW Local #60 of San Antonio, Texas.

Mr. Livar has served as the elected president of the South Texas Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (2018-2020) and is active in a number of industry organizations and associations.  Mr. Livar brings more than 45 years of experience along with a commitment to each of his customers in building and maintaining long term personal and professional relationships.
